You are responsible for
Develop Image Processing and Image Quality (IQ) requirements based on industry Standards and market needs
Design algorithms, create specifications and drive improvements for image Processing , image assessment, artifact suppression, data calibration, Pre & post processing .
Investigate image quality issues from current sites to determine probable causes.
Design verification, manufacturing testing, and customer testing for requirements related to Image Processing and Image quality performance at System Level. Generate evidence needed for reviews and reporting.
Develop simulations and Proof of Concept (POC) .
May be responsible for image processing/quality performance features on a product level.

As part of the DXR Modality you will have the opportunity to work with world class engineers who develop products that help save lives all over the world. The DXR (Diagnostic X-ray Imaging ) identifies and meets customer and market needs by designing, developing, X-ray Imaging Equipment. The DXR Modality team is part of the PD-MR business Unit in Philips.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Minimum-Masters Degree in Electrical / Biomedical Engineering / Physics / Instrumentation/ Computer Science .
Minimum 5+ years experience in a regulated medical product development/systems environment.
Knowledgeable in Medical Image Processing/ Recon knowledge relevant to the position, e.g., X-ray, CT , SPECT or MR
Proficiency in MATLAB® including GUI development and C-MEX
Experience with software development in C/C++/C#/Java.
Experience with simulation and modeling tools, e.g. Simulink
Knowledgeable in Product Design , Development and Verification/Validation (V&V).
Strong Communication and Presentation skills: Ability to present technical data/concepts concisely and effectively to various audiences/stakeholders
Detailed/ Structured documentation practices and decision making
Functional competencies: Analytical/Fact Based/Logical problem solver
