In this role, you have the opportunity to
drive and design efficient solutions for the software verification of the Philips patient monitors in close collaboration with the global teams from Software Verification, Software Devolpment and Quality Engineering to continuosly improve our test processes and tools.
You are responsible for
Test concept leadership. As one of the main technical interfaces engage and contribute in the definition of testable requirements and coach the test teams in implementing and performing test plans.
Test strategy and test approach. Collaborate together with architects and designers to create testable maintainable systems and convert requirements into test designs.
Test programming. Review project test plans and ensure consistency.
Progress reporting. Ensure test progress is properly managed and reported.
Product quality. Define acceptance tests for verification of requirements with shared responsibility for project scope/requirements and risks.
Medical regulatory compliance. Work and document according to relevant standards and medical device directories.
You are a part of
the Solution Reliability team which ensures the SW reliability of our patient monitor platform working together in a global team of Softwar test engineers.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

Strong analytical, conceptual and creative thinking skills. A problem solving and pragmatic attitude.
Excellent and proven experience in translating test architecture into V&V plans
Ability to be honest and direct, at the same time diplomatic
Able to build trust and influence your environment (charismatic)
Strong drive in the field of software testing
Strong & proven management skills for test & integration teams
Good understanding of medical device development and in driving quality and regulatory changes
Master or Bachelor Degree in SW engineering, informatics, or equivalent
ISTQB advanced, or preferably ISTQB CTAL certification or equivalent
Preferably experience in Test Automation on various platforms (Embedded SW, PC application and mobile app)
Basic knowledge of Configuration Management, Risk Management and Requirements management.
Preferably working experience in agile development methodologies
