In this role, you have the opportunity to lead the Product Engineering of patient monitoring and defibrillators for the Philips Emergency Care business. You will be a key leader on the Global Emergency Care R&D Leadership Team and report to the Head of Global R&D, Emergency Care.
You are responsible for
You are a part of the Philips Emergency Care Global R&D Leadership Team and will direct Systems, Embedded Software, Hardware, and Verification & Validation engineering activities. These activities require a broad spectrum of skills/capabilities, from the electronic, mechanical, system, and embedded software engineering to managing risk, security, technical investigations, and labeling.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
o Patient monitoring and defibrillation
o The development of software as a medical device
o Wired and wireless communication technologies
o CE & FDA regulatory as well as military & aviation standard requirements
o Model-based system engineering methodologies
o Design for Service and Manufacture
o Design for 6 sigma/Green belt/ Lean/ Agile development
