Overview:
Reporting
This role is responsible for producing KPI tracking reports and extracting key data into suitable format to enable the DACH business unit to conduct manage performance. Key responsibility for maintaining a standard reporting and comms methodology with partner stakeholders. The scope of data and interactions is process excellence, warehouse operations and logistics cost initially with scope to include other standard reporting longer term for E2E processes. The role holder will have to work in partnership with respective BU functional owners to ensure the reports are updated in line with the daily needs of the business whilst also responding to BU update requests or support as required for historical performance tracking. This role is essential to ensure visibility to BU performance is clear and timely in representation to enable the teams to continuously improve service.

Functional Responsibilities
Reporting
- Interact with MRP systems (SAP or similar) to collate and represent data in a meaning way. Initially these will be standard repoirts adopted from BU but with future aspiration to utilisae automation, workflows and Power Bi to reduce administrative workloads;
- Prepare reports W&T – Assign preliminary reason codes and prepare report; Collect relevant input data; Send internal communications with reports. Create cost controlling reports (MS Office) and deal with SAP (CO); Create the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements; Document and report additional, daily shipping costs; Prepare volumes and sales figures (monthly) of the individual shipping company as preparation for quarterly discussions and freight negotiations; Support continuous improvement (system optimization, process improvement etc.) of month-end closing reports preparation
- Evaluate/ track KPIs –Prepare monthly KPIs for Primary and Secondary Transport for financial report (upload in Chainalytics)
- Tender Management –Prepare logistics data on order structures for tenders and freight inquiries (Support GP)
- Other activities –Prepare volume allocation per customer group and dispatch location following a procurement change to support; Demand Planning Team for forecasting purposes/strategic sourcing
- Call center reporting and root cause analysis support – Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports ; Preparation of RCA for resolving most recorded claims – use analytics to flag areas for further investigation.
Performance Management – Transportation
- Perform service level issue root cause analysis –Assign preliminary reason codes and prepare report; Prepare and communicate aggregated report on final reason code analysis; Updating the system as required
- Prepare reports –Collect relevant input data; Prepare reports; Validate reports and define actions
- Evaluate transportation KPIs – Evaluate results and make reconciliation with carriers; Assess transportation companies’ performance (truck availability performance, timely supply to the plant)
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English
- Demonstrated ability to interact with data and MRP systems working within operational environment producing standard and ad hoc reports and able to flagging key problem areas such that stakeholders can remedy issues (usually min 1 yrs exp.)
- Working Knowledge of MRP required (pref. SAP)
- Working Knowledge of Power Bi or similar reporting dashboard software preferable
