Your Career
Palo Alto Networks is looking for a C#/.Net developer who has experience in building scalable and highly reliable business systems. As a Software developer you will develop and maintain C# web-based applications for internal and external clients. You will work alongside Product Owner, Scrum master, Dev OPS engineer and Software developers to rollout changes to services where some of them are external facing and many of them are involved in processing business transactions.
Join a dynamic and fast-paced team of seasoned fellow engineers designing and developing multi-tiered applications in a rapidly growing company for both consumers and to support our internal operations. You will work on our business applications, implementing features across the entire stack. Accomplish business requirements by developing and maintaining software applications and databases hosted in a cloud.
Your Impact
Identify business requirements by establishing personal rapport with actual, and potential, internal clients.
Develop business requirements into a functional program, potentially with multiple languages.
Must be comfortable accessing and manipulating various web and local data sources such as relational databases, SOAP and RESTful API calls.
Work with business requirement stakeholders to design, develop and refine the graphical user experience of an application.
Confirms program operation by conducting unit, system and integration tests; modifying program sequence and/or codes as necessary.
Must be comfortable working and deploying code within an application lifecycle management (ALM) system, particularly Team Foundation Server.
Must be able to work with a team and support a common code base; adhering to coding standards and deployment processes.
Must be able to document business requirements and business workflows as needed.
Must be willing to learn and adapt to new programming languages and technologies on an as-needed basis.
Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Expert at operating in an agile development environment.
Balance security debt, product stability and fatures against a backdrop of go to market pressures and timelines
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Your Experience
Skills/Qualifications
Must have 2+ years of experience in C#/.Net within team environments and large implementations.
Full stack system architecture (API / Web / DB / Distributed systems)
Client Side: Javascript, (React (Preferred)/ Angular), Jquery, HTML5, CSS
Back end: C# – Web APIs, .Net MVC, ASP.Net
DB: At least one of the following (MySQL/MSSQL/PostgreSQL/MSSQL/RDS)
At least one of the following Platforms – GCP (preferred) / AWS
