• OGSC as a legal entity was established on 7- November 2017 in Bangalore
• Strategy is to support Asia, Europe and Americas for Otis’s Global operations
• Otis is implementing JD Edwards ERP solution worldwide , along with various accounting and Business Intelligence tools to enable : Centralized Accounting and Reporting and Standardization of processes
• OGSC will be supporting Hyderabad R&D center (Lead Design Centre Hyderabad, LDC-H) which is one of the Global Engineering Center of Otis World Wide Engineering
• LDC-H is a dynamic, fast-growing Otis software engineering center with highly skilled workforce and wide range of competencies focused on Embedded, Cloud, Web, Desktop, and Mobile software technologies as well as data analytics and Model Based Design technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Capable of managing all facilities efficiently – well-versed with project management & new office setup activities, time management and team leadership
• Coordinate with internal team for issuing of POs or payments or site clearances from site facility team/ EHS team for necessary clearances as required for execution of projects
• Responsible for all Facility Management related activities such as upkeep and maintenance of infrastructure
• Identify all potentially hazardous conditions, investigate all hazardous occurrences and incidents and take corrective and preventive measures
• Oversee environmental health and safety and provide the necessary guidance to associates
• Attend and immediately resolve all the complaints received from associates
• To ensure minimum down time for all the utilities and services
• Vendor Management and AMC negotiations
• manage and review service contracts to ensure facility management needs are being met
• Maintaining MIS and records
• To ensure optimum utilization of available resources
• Ensure all emergency systems are functional, ensure regular maintenance and report any abnormality to center head
• Co-ordinate with different function teams viz, HR, Finance, IT & Sourcing
• Co-ordinate with building management team and local authorities
• Manage vendor team of 1-2 members

Required skills:

• Education (Mandatory) : Engineering graduate
• Total Exp : 11+ years
• Excellent communication and team handling experience
• Presentable, customer focused and confident
• Proven experience as facilities manager or relevant position
• working knowledge of principles and practices of project management/new office setup
• Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
• Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Good analytical/critical thinking
• Engineering background, business administration
• Preferably worked with engineering organization
• Preferably local/well versed with local language
