As a software engineer on the User Experience team, you will focused on defining, designing and building an Automation Test platform that will enable Console & it’s partners develop automation tests to ensure a quality product. You will be working with individuals from product management, engineering, design, documentation and partnering with other service teams.

You have solid communication skills. You can clearly explain complex technical concepts.
You work well with non-engineers. You can add value to conversations with designers, engineers, and product managers.
You are comfortable with some ambiguity. You are able to produce production level code.
You are comfortable working at all levels of the stack.
You know frontend integration testing technologies (Selenium or similar).
You know React & Redux; or, you don’t know React, but are willing to learn.
Minimum Qualifications
1+ years of experience shipping software
BS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
Strong grasp of Computer Science concepts (data structures, algorithms, and programming paradigms)
Experience in at least one of the following languages: Java/ C#, JavaScript, React.js, React Native, TypeScript, Angular, Backbone, Knockout.js or another AJAX framework.
Experience in web frontend integration testing technologies (Selenium or similar).
Preferred Qualifications
MS in Computer Science
Experience in a start-up environment
Experience building rich, browser-based applications
Experience designing, developing, and maintaining web applications operating at great scale
Experience in at least one of the following languages: Java/ C#, JavaScript, React.js, React Native TypeScript, Angular, Backbone, Knockout.js or another AJAX framework.
Experience in web frontend integration testing technologies (Selenium or similar).
Good understanding of Unix-like operating systems.
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
