The Oracle Permitting and Licensing cloud product development organization is looking for a principal product manager.
Job Responsibilities
Drive Product Management work for Oracle Permitting and Licensing Cloud that simplifies community development process by creating an intuitive customer experience, an efficient intake process, and a connected inspection application.
Author high quality functional designs that support the main business objective(s) of the project including: use cases, wireframes/prototypes, and functional requirements.
Manage projects and produce multiple project deliverables simultaneously Partner with product strategy to present the functional vision of the product to key customer or partners in various forums (conferences, focus groups, customer meetings).
Partner with the usability team to help define new user interface widgets, constructs, and design patterns.
Contribute to the authoring standards and guidelines documentation to ensure consistency across product lines .
Support the development team and other extended teams in resolving the customer reported issues.
Handle incidents escalated by customers on a priority basis.
Multi-task on various assignments including new features, customer issues/escalations and adhoc projects
Qualifications/requirements:
BS or MS degree or MBA degree or equivalent.
8+ years of proven experience in a product management / product development role with a forward thinking technology company.
Proven track record of successful new product development using formal methodologies working with an Agile Technology Team, preferably using Scrum.
Experience in designing new features, developing prototypes, conducting usability tests.
Good knowledge of SCRUM methodology.
Experience in designing UI for mobile devices.
Experience working in large organizations in the IT department in a functional role is desirable End to end knowledge of software development cycle.
Good experience in writing Functional Designs, preparing mockups, end-to-end flow diagrams, writing and grooming stories as a product owner.
Ability to communicate well and work with development organization worldwide.
Ability to conduct the design meetings with extended team independently

Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
