Full Job DescriptionThe CX Product Catalog development team is looking for great talented Engineer to join our organisation. Our group is an umbrella organization encompassing all of the CX Cloud products at Oracle. Our job is to ensure that the CX products work and play well with each other in terms of feature, function, security, standards, and integrations. This team is highly visible to executive management and has executive backing on projects enabling multiple projects to get started and completed. On a day to day basis, the Developer on this team will:
Work on Developing next-gen features that will be used to make sales reps, marketers, merchandizers and service agents more effective
Collaborate with product management and engineering teams across Oracle CX suite of products to analyze, design, and execute projects that will further unify those products
Collaborate with teams throughout the Oracle business apps division and beyond to understand and optimize underpinnings of the Oracle tech stack
Perform various research projects to help determine the viability of proposed projects in terms of technical feasibility, return on investment, and other criteria
Qualifications
We are looking for folks with the following skills:
Technical background
8+ years of experience in Application Development.
Experience in Java/J2EE, JSP, web application,
Experience writing well-maintainable RESTful web services is must.
Experience in any JS, Groovy, Python, SQL will be added advantage
Exposure to micro service architecture & understand the underlying cloud native architecture.
Experience in Cloud native solutions like Kubernetes, Docker, Istio, etc and Eventing, messaging, streaming platform (e.g., Kafka)
Experience in any of the following will be preferrable
Visual Builder/JET or other JavaScript UI frameworks.
ADF Business Components or other ORM frameworks.
Familiar with CI/CD using Agile methodology
Experience with Enterprise SaaS
Experience with building multi-tenant apps
Development on Cloud (like Oracle, AWS etc) will be an added advantage.
Domain experience – Exposure to any of the CX product. It is important to understand the business processes and problems that we are trying to solve.
Communication – You don’t need to have 1M views on Ted Talks, but you do need to be able to communicate to Product managers and stakeholders in written and visual communication
Flair for innovation – We are looking for next generation ideas. We are thinking about solutions and technologies that may be 3-5 years out. If you are a person who has the latest IoT devices in your house and have been constantly thinking about the latest in ML advancements while driving your Model 3 to CES, we may be looking for you.

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
