The Analytics (OFSAA) line of business is responsible for the development and marketing of industry specific profitability, risk management, regulatory compliance and budgeting and planning, business intelligence and data foundation built on a common toolset or platform. As a key member of this team, you will build and deliver the next generation of these vital business solutions for the Financial Services industry.
Product Description
OFSS Basel Regulatory Capital application of the OFSAA product suite allows financial institutions to achieve the regulatory and compliance requirements published by the Bank for International Settlements. It is an integrated application that allows different approaches for different portfolios. The application adheres to the Basel Accords published by the Bank for International Settlements and it is fully transparent where all Rules and Approaches are visible to business users, reviewers, or auditors.
Position Description
We are seeking aspirational graduates interested in a career in Development to join our OFSAA Regulatory Compliance Applications development. The position will need to perform design and development of OFSAA products. Need to interact with product manager to collect business requirement and translate in technical design.
The work we do is often non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in areas of Banking Domain. We are looking for highly talented contributors with a passion for learning, self-motivated and independent engineers with a drive to make a difference. Strong analytical and problem solving skills are desirable, as the candidates will be involved in solving complex business issues.
As a Principal Applications Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and triaging complex business solutions / issues in Regulatory Compliance Products. You will be responsible for designing and implementing Deep Analysis Tools to mine data to extract actionable analytics, use AI/ML to identify and resolve anomalies and quickly establish the root cause of issues.

Experience in working in BFSI Domain and specifically Regulatory Compliance – Risk Management is important
Data warehousing concepts like star schema design, facts, SCD, grain and measure etc.
Knowledge on cloud architecture, Java, UI would be desirable
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Collaboration skills with other team members across portfolio
Your Responsibilities
Analyze the business requirement documents, understand the requirements and functional understanding of Basel domain.
Prepare the Technical Design for each requirement using Oracle SQL, AI, UI.
Create the technical design documents using OFSAA and Oracle SQL /AI/ UI.
Configure the reports using Business Metadata prepared.
Create the data flow objects like Rules / Procedures using OFSAA Frameworks and Oracle SQL/PLSQL
Automation Utility creations using Oracle SQL/ PLSQL / AI/ML.
Performance efficient query design.
Should have excellent problem solving, analytical and technical troubleshooting skills
Your Qualifications
Degree in B.E., B.Tech, or M.C.A
Excellent hands-on experience in Oracle SQL/PL SQL
Excellent Knowledge of RDBMS and database schemas and concepts like Normalization and De-normalization, OLTP and OLAP and various types of keys and indexes.
Good Knowledge on Putty, WinSCP and basic UNIX commands.
Good on Excellent Logical Reasoning , problem solving skills and Aptitude
Basic Performance Tuning Idea Explain plan, Query execution steps, Indexing, Partitioning
Experience in any Software Development Process and Standards ( Agile preferable)
Experience in any one source code version control repository tool.
Excellent programming skills in PL/SQL / AI / ML / UI.
You have awareness of banking terminologies and concepts
You possess good communication & documentation skills in English
Secondary Skills
Experience in Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications Infrastructure (OFS AAI) Frameworks.
Hands on experience in any ETL Tools.
Any reporting experience through roll up, aggregation or matrix reports. Experience in any reporting tool.
Any training or experience in Java, Python, Big Data Concepts, Ruby (CHEF), Shell or Cloud (DEVOps) will be an advantage.
Experience
Experience of 8 to 12 years with 5 years in primary skill areas
Experience in development and / or implementation of OFSAA will be added advantage.
Educational and Other Qualifications
Degree in B.E., B.Tech, or M.C.A

Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
