Background:
An independent Banking testing practice focused on providing professional testing services with profound product knowledge and automation testing expertise.
Banking Testing practice portfolio covers three broad areas: functional testing, automation& testing service, and specialized test support. The testing practice supports multi engagement project delivery aligned to waterfall & agile methodology, with an in-depth product/domain knowledge and teams distributed across offshore & onsite.
Opportunity:
You will be responsible for applying your extensive knowledge of banking and product functionality to write comprehensive test cases, test the application developed to ensure it performs as per client requirements.
Qualifications:
BE/BTech/Master’s Degree/Bachelor’s Degree.
Candidate:
The candidate should preferably from a banking domain
He/She should have domain knowledge in one or more of the following modules
Corporate banking – Trade Finance, Money Market, Foreign Exchange, Payments, Securities, Derivatives, Loan syndication and Corporate term deposit.
The candidate should have a strong penchant for quality and produce high-grade deliverables
within the stipulated timeframe
The candidate should have a solid understanding of SDLC and the Testing life cycle
The candidate should be enterprising, a self-starter and willing to learn new concepts and
product functionality with minimal handholding
Should be a quick learner
Should have excellent oral and written communication skills
He/She should have the ability to build rapport with internal/cross-functional team members and clients
Ability to travel as needed
Responsibilities:
As an integral part of the testing team, you will be responsible for the following –
To understand the business requirements
Review and understand the Functional specifications
Prepare test cases for both functional and interface testing across Agile and waterfall projects ensuring one hundred percent test coverage
Timely execution of test cases to ensure that the developed application satisfy the client requirements.
Raise quality issues to ensure minimum defect leakage and track it till closure
Review User Manuals and Help files prepared for the software.
Understand internal policies and procedures and comply with it
Secondary Skills:
Oracle FLEXCUBE application / Oracle Banking application knowledge in one or more of the following modules of Corporate banking – Trade Finance, Money Market, Foreign Exchange, Payments, Securities, Derivatives, Loan syndication and Corporate term deposit.
Working experience in interface testing.
Agile certification is a plus
Experience in test automation.
Junior consulting position for those who are continuing to develop their expertise. Receives general instruction on routine work and detailed instruction on new projects or assignments.
As a member of a project team, follows standard practices and procedures to analyze situations/data and provide quality work products to deliver functional and technical solutions on applications and technology installations. Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying relevant Oracle methodologies and practices. Implements Oracle products and technology in various industries to meet customer specifications.
1-3 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Demonstrates competence in a minimum of one product or technology area. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
