Full Job DescriptionResponsibilities for the Role:
Develop infrastructure automation and build jobs to automate the provisioning and configuration of servers in OCI, build Docker Images for Data science and deploy them in multiple environments across Oracle CX Marketing products.
Develop automated functional tests for Data Science features and Apps and track model performance, API response time, and test coverage metrics
Build Infra and Application monitoring capabilities for monitoring Dada Science containers in production
Automate the Security and Compliance related scans and checks of Data Science containers and code as per Global Security policy and recommendations
Develop solutions that simplify the task of Production issue analysis by enabling log viewing tracing and debugging of data science features in production
Communicate effectively to multiple stakeholders on insights from data science containers in production.
Enable the agility in the validations, delivery and monitoring of Data Science within Oracle CX
Mentor other DevOps and QA Engineers, and help them to develop their skills and effectiveness.
Key Qualifications:
Experience in one or more programming languages Python (mandatory), Java, C++
Experience in Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Cloud Automation, Jenkins, GitLab and Linux shell scripts
Experience in DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Services, deployment and monitoring of API and Microservices.
Experience in Data Engineering and ETL, Machine learning pipelines and ML deployment.
Practical expertise and in-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms for classification, regression, clustering, reinforcement learning and algorithmic foundations of optimization and data mining.
Working knowledge of relational databases, including SQL, and large-scale distributed systems such as Hadoop and Spark
Sound foundations in Computer Science and systems. Exposure to engineering and maintaining high-performance scalable systems.
Self-starter with Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, analytical and interpersonal skills
Strong communication skills, and the ability to explain difficult technical topics to multiple stakeholders from data scientists, engineers to business partners and leaders.
Ability to work with incomplete requirements and handle multiple projects with deadlines.
Education:
Bachelors, Masters, in Computer Science/IT or equivalent professional experience.
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
