Ojas Eye Hospital Hiring for Optometrist Job at Mumbai Full Time

Introduction:

Ojas Eye Hospital is one of India’s leading eye care services organization based in Mumbai with two fully equipped centers in Bandra W and Kandivali. We have been providing high quality eye care treatment to our patients since 1987, and have helped over 200,000 patients receive world class vision correction and eye care treatment.

We are looking to on-board 2 optometrists into our team. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of work experience as an optometrist. Additional preference will be provided to candidates having strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Taking patient history
• Checking Subjective Refraction and Retinoscopy
• Examining eye using Slit Lamp
• Checking EOM (Extra Ocular Movements and Pupil Reaction)
• Contact Lens fitting and dispensing
• Cataract Investigation:

A – Scan, B – Scan, IOL Master, Keratometry, Syringing and Specular Microscopy

• Glaucoma Investigation:

Autoperimetry, OCT

• Orthoptics Investigation:

Squint Workup, Synaptophore, Hess-Charting, Diplopia Charting and Retinoscopy

• Posterior Segment Evaluation:

Fundus Fluorecin Angiography, Posterior Optical Coherence Tomography, B Scan, Pachymetry

• Cornea Evaluation:

Zyoptix Workup, Aberropia Workup, Orbscan, Aberrometry and Anterior Segment OCT, Contrast Sensitivity, W4DT (Worth 4 Dot Test), Schirmer test for Dry Eye

• Handing over the case sheets to doctors
• Counselling patients on the reports given by the doctor
• Co-ordination with Consultant / Centre Head on daily basis based on surgery advice and conversion
• Maintain checklist as per the instruction given by the management. (Like Cataract, FFA, etc.,)
• Explain the tariff of the concern procedures / investigations to patients in detail
• Maintain counselling report on daily basis (Advise, Conversion and Patient wise details)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹20,000.00 – ₹40,000.00 per month
