Your Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
Oversee end-to-end delivery of a dedicated set of systems, tools or applications and ensure their stability, integrity and business continuity. -Ensure services are delivered to the agreed SLA, including reviewing supplier performance based on the agreed SLAs and KPIs.Identify, investigate, resolve incidents; report on incidents and review findings with key stakeholders; coordinate crisis management with relevant stakeholders, if required. -Oversee problem management and drive identification of root causes and prevention of recurrences.Ensure that an up-to -date asset inventory is maintained & only authorized components are used; coordinate configuration management database changes and /or ensure that configuration items are identified, accounted, reported, verified & audited. -Ensure proper user & access management.Ensure adherence to documented operational procedures and quality standards, and that appropriate operational service documentation is created & accepted by stakeholders. -Support Service / Solution Operations Manager in technical topicsAct as Software Asset Management (SAM) expert for the Novartis Group to ensure transparency and compliance of software licensing as well as cost-efficient software use -Collaborate with a global team of Software Asset Management experts and manage relationships with IT, procurement and legal as well as third party software resellersManage Novartis software inventory (incl. cloud-based software), oversee SAM tools, and ensure asset information (financials & license info etc.) is maintained throughout the entire asset life cycle. -Advise IT functions through strong business partnering on software licensing decisions as well as on ad hoc contractual questionsMaintain processes and trainings for managing software throughout the asset lifecycle -Support software vendor audits for suppliers and proactively ensure that license use is aligned with entitlements. -Drive value out of existing and future contracts by ensuring cost optimal deployment and usage of SW assets

Minimum requirements
Masters or bachelor level degree in business/technical/scientific area or comparable education/experience –At least 10 years of professional experience in a similar or related roleRelevant work experience in Software Asset Management
