Consultant, Centre of Excellence Enlighten team
The Department
The COE team is part of the Productivity organization and has broad responsibility for identifying and driving global, cross functional process improvement opportunities using a variety of optimization techniques. The department uses Enlighten, Lean Six Sigma and other change management Improvement methods to impact benefit levers of cost, quality, and risk. Enlighten Software is a productivity tool, that focus on Productivity, Utilization & Efficiency. It analyses data to assist management in making informed decision to maximize benefits and resources.
The Consultant role is part of the COE team and will be responsible for supporting post implementation of Enlighten tool across different departments within/across the regions. This role also will Administering and Review of Daily Scoreboard Report, Establishing/Re-setting Throughput Baselines, Monthly Post Program Support Call, Benchmarking Target setting and Provide Weekly Team Summary.
The focus of this role is to support the COE – Enlighten’s proprietary software and methodologies, to enable our clients to drive performance improvement in key metrics, such as efficiency, productivity, quality and internal employee engagement.
Responsibilities:
Operates independently; gain in-depth knowledge of enlighten tool (post training period)
Understand & setup enlighten program to achieve department goals
Facilitates stakeholder collaboration across departments to address gaps and pain-points in data journeys.
Train managers on “telling the story” behind team performance using key Enlighten metrics (e.g. Efficiency, Utilization, Productivity) in a manner that is consistent with program goals.
Understand organizations goals and ensure that goal alignment is occurring at every level.
Develops periodic goals, organizes the work, sets short-term priorities, monitors all activities, and ensures timely and accurate completion of the work.
Work in tandem with Business Sponsors and Stakeholders to understand business vision and objectives in order to define, create and implement business process improvements that will drive efficiencies across the Organization
Responsible for analysis, facilitation, training’s, mentoring, project reporting and providing recommendations for process improvements that will improve quality, reduce costs and establish appropriate process metrics and improve process controls.
Ensure benefit delivery as per financial and non-financial targets in individual and managed projects through effective implementation and change management
Evaluate existing business and operational flows and define the As-Is process models and To-Be process models for business process re-engineering initiatives, demonstrating commitment to the company’s vision and business strategies/objectives.
Provide coaching and support to leaders and team members on the daily use of Enlighten.
Ensure integrity and consistency in all initiatives and allocated tasks.
Skills/ Experience:
A college or university degree is a must
Six Sigma Green Belt certification is mandatory.
Hands on experience in Power BI Service & Power BI Desktop Expertise and proven experience in development of reports, dashboards, KPI scorecards, aggregating data from multiple sources
7+ years of relevant work experience in change management, process optimization/process re-engineering
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Good negotiation and conflict management skills.
