Where do you come into the picture?
Reporting to the Head of Learning and Internal Communications, you would be responsible for managing employee experience globally for Nium
You will be responsible for taking ownership of candidates as they are about to join NIum and ensure that they have a smooth onboarding experience. You will build deep engagement with internal teams that facilitate the onboarding and assimilation of talent within the company and drive the induction of each new-joiner at Nium. As a part of this process, you would be the owner of the background verification process, wherein you would liase with our global partners to conduct BGV checks for new joiners and lead consequence management of the same. Depending on the hiring requirements, you would also lead the visa / employment pass process for talent we are looking to onboard in any of the regions we operate in
This role would also require you to be a project manager in a wide variety of HR initiatives related to learning and employee experience. You will need to break down the vision and desired outcomes of a project into a granular charter while relentlessly pursuing milestones. You would use an agile, resource-light and iterative approach towards problem-solving to overcome obstacles,
To internalize and execute all the above responsibilities successfully, you will need establish an intimate connect with the organization, its brand and the global talent pool. You will play the role of a trusted advisor on employee experience-related matters and an advocate for building an inclusive culture across teams. Given your propensity to scale, you would be required to undertake larger organizational projects from time to time as the Company may reasonably require.
What would a day in your life @ Nium look like?
In your role as Manager – HR and Employee Experience at Nium, you will:
Managing the day-to-day operations of the Employee Experience & Human Resources workstreams
Leading the global onboarding and orientation program for new hires, working closely with hiring managers, and coordinate key trainings, documentation, technology, and space
Manage employee experience processes such as sending statutory reminders, rolling out employee event communications, and driving execution of key HR projects
Own and manage the background verification and consequence management of cases globally
Own and conduct employment pass and visa process for key employees and candidates in various geographies
Track impact of HR initiatives and iterate evolved employee experiences basis learnings..
Drive the use and uptake of various employee experience platforms and ensure data sanctity across platforms
3-5 years of relevant experience in managing employee and candidate experiences.
Passionate about working in the Fintech space and about owning and executing great employee experiences in a dynamic and global organization
Deep expertise in execution and running processes like background verification, applying and securing employment pass for employees, data management on employee experience platforms
Knowledgeable about current and upcoming trends in employee experience, platforms, and tools that can help elevate employee experience at Nium
Highly detail-oriented and adept at executing day-to-day HR processes and managing candidate experience throughout the onboarding, joining, and assimilation stages of the employee life cycle.
Can work with global stakeholders in order to plan and execute new joiner induction and global onboarding across multiple geographies.
Experienced in managing digital learning platforms, creating training calendars, assessing training effectiveness, etc.
Expertise in conducting training need analysis and in assessing training effectiveness
Can work on large data sets to generate clean data reports and insights
Team player and believes in working boundarylessly towards achieving the organization’s priorities
