ABOUT THE JOB
NielsenIQ is currently looking for a Business and Marketing Lead for North and East Market for its Analytics division. This is a leadership position which is accountable for the overall marketing and business growth of its analytics products and solutions. The incumbent will drive and manage all the relevant sales and business development in North and East market. Apart from accelerating the revenue growth through various marketing efforts, the incumbent will also be required to develop and manage the long and short term marketing strategies for the division and translate them into achievable action plans.
The position is based in New Delhi requiring travel within market and Kolkata.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The position would also entail the following additional responsibilities:
Drive a formal market analysis to plan and devise appropriate marketing strategies to identify and develop new business opportunities.
Develop strategies to maximize revenue potential and business growth from the existing clients.
Lead and manage all strategic client interactions and communications.
Develop and build good industry-wise networks and affiliations.
ABOUT YOU
Ability to take strategic decisions, solve problems and drive business growth fairly independently
High level of self-motivation and drive and an optimistic “can-do” attitude
Extremely good interpersonal and networking skills
Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
Strong on lateral and innovative thinking
Ability to lead and build a strong team
A good knowledge and grip of the consumer markets domain; with a good understanding of consumer or market research and analytics being an added advantage
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional qualification or a postgraduate in Management, preferably in marketing, from a reputed or well recognized institution.
Minimum 10 years of overall experience in marketing and sales, preferably in B2B space or in consumer/market research or data analytics fields.
At least 5-7 years direct experience in leading a marketing/business development/pre-sales role with a demonstrated ability in scaling up business.
Any experience or expertise in quantitative research methods and familiarity with data analytics products and services would be an added advantage along with knowledge in Auto, BFSI space.
