Job Description
We are now looking for a Product Manager to join our team in global Butterfly Valve Product Line in Ambarnath.
As a Product Manager, you will define the best product strategy and offering guidelines to support the growth plans in target areas. You will have a key role in butterfly valve product portfolio development, and in providing the technical and commercial input to business development plans and risk analyses. You are responsible for butterfly valves’ profitability and availability activities and supporting the growth of business.
You will work in close cooperation with Market Areas, but you also support Global Sales and Project organizations in product selection and valve sizing for different applications. In addition, you give product trainings both internally and externally. You will also maintain and develop the product offering and pricing in the sales system, as well as the product marketing documentation.
To Succeed
To succeed in this position, you should have a Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in technical field or equivalent work experience. We expect you to have at least 5 years’ experience in e.g. product development, offerings or production. Experience in product management is highly appreciated, and knowledge of process industry and butterfly valves are considered as an asset.
You have an agile way of working combined with systematic approach; you have the ability to organize and prioritize diversified tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. You have excellent networking and communication skills and you are able to achieve set targets respecting the deadlines.
You are comfortable with working in international matrix organization and you know how to communicate topics within the area of expertise to different levels of the organization. You speak and write English fluently and you have great presentation and training skills.
This position requires occasional travelling.
