Position Overview
Nektar has an exciting opportunity for an Sr. Officer, Accounting to join their team.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Accounting, the Sr. Officer, Accounting will support accounting and related documentation activity and will be primarily responsible for recording journal entries, keeping track of all statutory payments, vendor invoicing and assisting in and supporting audit related activities. Will also support the activities related to day-to-day accounting of the company’s operations in Hyderabad.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Supports the monthly close by assisting in the recording of month end journal entries, preparing required schedules and bank reconciliation statements
Responds to vendor inquiries, resolves most issues and escalates complex vendor issues to management as appropriate
Preparation of data for TDS quarterly returns and coordinate with appropriate parties to take to completion
Support and participate in audit activities
Requirements:
A Post Graduation (M.Com, MBA (Finance) , CA (Inter) ) along with a minimum of 4 – 6 years of professional experience as Senior Officer Accounts or related position with knowledge of accounting ERP software required. Must be able to maintain discretion and confidentiality. Strong attention to detail regarding documentation is a must. Good communication skills both oral and written are a must. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with an ability to establish priorities and react quickly and professionally are required. Must have an ability to multi-task. Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
