Associate Staff Engineer (QA Automation)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Thorough knowledge of agile and testing concepts
• Extensive experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, Quality Centre etc.
• Proficient in SQL
• Proficient in any one automation tool – Selenium, UFT, Protractor, Nightwatch.JS etc.
• Proficient in anyone coding language – Java, C#, JavaScript, Python
• Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins) will be an added advantage
• Experience with security testing, performance testing will be an added advantage
• Experience with API testing using tools like SOAP UI, Postman, Rest Assured will be an added advantage
• Foundation certification from ISTQB will be an added advantage
• Analytical, proactive, and out of the box thinking mindset
• Passionate about delivering and executing high-quality solutions
• High level of commitment to client satisfaction and agility
• Collaborate with others and build positive working relationships
• Possess a strong work ethic
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Rest Assured, Selenium, Cucumber, Java (Capable)
• Drive sound technical Quality Assurance practices, methods, and a culture of quality across the business
• Develop the automation code using the automation framework for execution.
• Implement the test automation solutions with the objective that it has adequate coverage within the sprint and can be reused for regression testing.
• Ensure the test automation solution meets the architectural and development standards that are reusable and scalable.
• Work closely with QA Leads, Chapter Leads, Developers, Architects, Product Owner and other stakeholders to meet the expectations
