Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our global Analytics UX Technology team and contribute to the creation of a next generation OneMSCI Portal.
This Portal will provide access to a wide range of Financial Analytics content, and provide a simple, intuitive mechanism to access very rich and sophisticated content. This role will be expected to contribute towards the design and implementation of the Portal (in particular the hosted client applications) and engage and collaborate with various other development and design teams across the globe.

Your key responsibilities
Work collaboratively with developers across the globe
Take initiative to propose ideas and voice your concerns while taking ownership (and responsibility) of and moving forward areas you are working on
Work closely with Product Management, UX Designers, Quality Assurance, Data Operation and IT Infrastructure on all stages of the software development life cycle
Be expected to participate in code reviews and design discussion with other developers.
Analyze the performance of code and implement enhancements.
Investigate issues and derive root cause and correction.
Your skills and experience that will help you excel
Experience using, and a good understanding of web technologies and frameworks, including React based components, different design patterns (such as MVVM), Node.js, HTML, Typescript, CSS etc.
An ability to transfer / communicate expert knowledge to other team members
An understanding of continuous integration principles and writing testable code
Familiar with relevant supporting tools and frameworks, namely:
– Testing: Cypress / jest
– Azure Devops
– Others: scss, webpack, nodejs etc
Familiar with current UX best practices and techniques, in particular experience with design languages and frameworks
A firm grasp of networking concepts including services, protocols, proxies, and firewalls
Strong problem-solving skills
