Corporate and Funding Technology (CFT) develops and oversees the overall technology strategy and bespoke technology solutions to drive and enable the firmwide businesses and enterprise-wide functions. Our clients include Fixed Income, Equities, Prime Brokerage, Commodities, Investment Banking, Research and Global Capital Markets as well as Operations, HR and Corporate Services.
Counterparty Data and Regulatory Technology, part of CFT, is responsible for firmwide infrastructure for managing counter party information, client and account onboarding and all regulatory adherences for the clients. CDRT has commenced on several strategic initiatives to better our technology and data management platform. These initiatives involve building state of the art solutions using industry standard architectural methodologies such as Business Process Management, Business Rules Management, Event Driven MOM, Service Oriented Architecture and Business Intelligence ing infrastructure. This position represents a unique opportunity to work with latest technologies as well as work with various IT and Business teams across the firm.
This is a senior architect and delivery lead position for CDRT Onboarding and Regulatory platform.
PIPE Platform comprises of strategic onboarding and regulatory system along with Rules framework and 6 legacy systems that are still actively leveraged for all business processes in Client Onboarding and regulatory compliance processes. This platform includes core dependency on A2 (Golden source of client data) and caching infra on top of it. 10+ squads work on the PIPE platform for various stakeholders from delivery point of view.
PIPE Roadmap for next three years involves collapsing all legacy systems, uplifting of the rules platform architecturally and offering PIPE as the single system with all business functions in the client onboarding and regulatory compliance space. Client Regulatory Services (CRS) business group aims to renovate the New client onboarding and data refresh functions from the regulatory point of view.
Given the complexity and the nature of this renovation, we need a senior leader with strong hands-on skills on distributed stack and cloud competencies who can own this multi-year transformation program. This leadership role involves managing number of squads in the CRS fleet from strategy, delivery, execution, stakeholder management and people mentoring perspective. Role provides the unique opportunity of rearchitecting the platform for critical upliftment in the regulatory space, including data and documents refresh and business rules management business processes. Leader is to coordinate development and delivery across all CRS squads, aligning to the strategic roadmap and promoting rollout of the renovated components – front2back for this transformation. This needs very close collaboration with squad leads and product owners for all these squads and at the same time keeping development team aligned to the strategic road map.
Leadership role also involves people mentoring, organizational responsibilities around team building, business unit stakeholder management, coordination with various stakeholders across the firm for delivery and team management.
Skills Required (Must Have)
The candidate must possess a strong technology background with advanced knowledge of Java and Java based technology stack.
