Overview of the job
Mindshare Neo is an agency of GroupM, the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally.
In this role, you will play a key role in the development and support of BI applications for Mindshare. The Technology team supports all North American offices (New York, Chicago, LA, Atlanta). The ideal candidate should be able to achieve timelines allocated, can work independently, take ownership of development tasks, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Working with all constituents of performance eco-system under one single roof

In 6 months:
Get deep into the project and start working on modules adding value independently
Identify areas where you can add value and start a conversation around future growth
In 12 months:
Be the lead on the module you are working on
Start interactions with the client and own the scope and deliveries of the project
Responsibilities of the role:
Develop new features and provide ongoing production support for a high profile Mindshare NEO
Commitment to overlapping with Mindshare New York office hours by 4 hours each weekday morning
Troubleshoot problems through testing and bug fixing. Ensures quality for their assigned projects.
Implement test cases and processes to ensure data quality
Assist and participate in interacting with the business stakeholders to provide the best solution and insights to their business problems and challenges
Skills we are looking for:
3+ years of experience with application frameworks (jQuery, JavaScript, Bootstrap) and building apps in Python-Django
2 years proven experience working with REST – API’ s (internal and external 3rd party API’s),
handling Web Services, Web API’s in Python, Pandas, Numpy
Familiarity with GitHub
2+ years SQL experience, including performance tuning, query optimization, dynamic SQL with table value parameters, able to develop/debug stored procedures with xml input parameters.
Strong attention to detail. Knowledge of QA processes
Demonstrated ability to work independently
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Business Information Systems or equivalent. Candidates with a different background will be also considered
Skills good to have:
Experience with Tableau or other Visualization tools would be a plus
Experience with agile development and Azure would be a plus
