Duties and responsibilities
Handle pan-India sales via Territory Sales Managers (TSMs) and distributor network.
Perform rapid business expansion by leading and guiding the sales team, tapping into new regions, penetrating into the market with new products, appointing new distributors, organizing product launches, and branding.
Achieve and exceed self and sales team’s assigned target.
Maintain strong relationship with institutional buyers, dealers and contractors.
Expand markets, focusing on corporates, dealers and distributors of mining industry, Dimensional Stone Industry (DSI), stone quarries, road contractors and other mining operations.
Perform day-to-day routine work including coordination with sales team, reporting about sales team to General Manager – Sales, providing support to salesmen by talking to customers and coming up with innovative ideas and new marketing techniques.
Qualifications & Capabilities
Graduate / Diploma in Mechanical / Mining Engineering or Graduate with MBA / PGP in Marketing.
Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
Seamless interaction with customers over phone, WhatsApp, email and video conferencing.
Tech savvy with hands-on exposure to CRM platform.
Proficient in MIS Reporting, MS Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Willing to undertake extensive travelling.
Sound knowledge about the mining and construction tools and spares.
Good reputation with top institutional buyers, dealers and distributors of the mining and construction industry.
Experience
The candidate should have 10 to 15 years’ experience in sales of mining and construction equipment, tools and accessories of reputed brands like Atlas Copco, Epiroc, Sandvik and Chicago Pneumatic either under direct company role or with their authorized dealers / distributors.
Add-on advantage: Experience and knowledge of global markets and export sales.
