As part of the SAP Manager you will be personally involved in leading the team responsible for design, configuring the business requirements & features that enable our mission critical business processes. You will work closely with peers across teams (inside CSE and across the company) to help build flexible and high-performing SAP ABAP development Solutions that enable next generation of business services. This is a data-driven and fast paced environment – where Managers are empowered to innovate and take ideas from conception to scale. Responsibilities
Develop and grow a healthy, diverse team and mentor great engineers and be a fantastic role model of a service quality first-obsessed and data-driven Engineering Lead.
Provides direct leadership for multiple individual contributors in master data governance implementation and support team.
Driving implementations and oversee the service health for the ABAP solutions.
Partner with surround teams to deliver high quality solutions.
Creating clarity, generating energy, and delivering results for the team
Personally, commit to deliver success of the team through empowerment and accountability by model, coach, and care.
Facilitate an environment of inclusion that leverages diverse perspectives and talent, to better represent and understand our global customers.
Qualifications
Expert in understanding the ABAP technical development for commonly domains in SAP
Experience in managing large teams implementing ABAP solutions in a complex IT landscapes.
Experience Familiarity with ABAP programming, building BRF and AIF enabled applications, workflows, and web dynpros.
Extensive knowledge in integrating systems using web services, IDOC and other interfacing technologies.
Have at least 15 years of experience with at least 5 years with responsibility of people careers
Ideal candidates will have a strong balance of technical and strategic skills, a proven history of working well across large scale, globally dispersed groups, a strong track record in global delivery and management of services across applications with deep technical and business skills.
Demonstrated ability to provide strategic leadership, driving long-range thinking about business and operations strategy and inspiring others to work towards that vision is a must.
College degree in Business, Technology (BA or BS preferred), Computer Science or related discipline – equivalent experience acceptable.
8 years of hands on ABAP development and testing experience including leading ABAP teams
Proven ability to lead, coach and provide leadership to staff, including development of goals, objectives and performance success criteria.
