Full Job Description
Work for RAD SWAT Application Development organization and act as a JAVA developer in improving the systems performance , develop new codes, re-write codes, fix codes etc..
Key Responsibilities :–
Production release for UCD, DBA and Tech Operations team. Partner with all stakeholders on relevant Sign-Offs
Liaison with onshore and offshore partners for validation of script files and final execution .
Work with UCD teams for code deployment in all production and non-production servers .
Testing in prod and non-prod environment and troubleshoot to fix all technical issues on releases / planned deployments .
Handle complex assignments spanning Software delivery, Service management, Change Management, Release Management, System Integration, Data Center Migration.
Work as part of a software development team.
Write code per app specifications.
Test to ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
Analyze user requirements to determine how to translate into Java.
Designing and implementing Java-based applications.
Analyzing user requirements to inform application design.
Defining application objectives and functionality.
Aligning application design with business goals.
Developing and testing software.
Debugging and resolving technical problems that arise.
Producing detailed design documentation.
Recommending changes to existing Java infrastructure.
Perform level 3 troubleshooting (with escalation to the US team as needed).
Coordinate environment availability.
Restart services.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education
MCA, MSc. Computers or Engineering
Experience
8 plus years of total experience and at least 6 years as a Java Developer
Should be a Java developer
Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues
Experience with Service Now
Working knowledge of Java programming language
Knowledge of AppDynamics
Knowledge of Docker containers
Programming languages – JAVA 7 / 8, JavaScript and SQL
Application Development experience
Knowledge and skills (general and technical)
C#, ASP.NET MVC 5, Java, JSP, Structs, Spring Boot, VB.NET, DevBooster (Europe Information Framework), WCF, Web Service, WEB API, SQL Server 2012/2014, AJAX, XML, XSLT, Java Script, JSon, Angular JS, HTML 5 and CSS 3 to design and develop appropriate applications..
Experience urban code deployment tools
Experience with Jira
Experience with BitBucket
Microsoft Certified Professional – Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 Specialist
Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist- .NET Framework 4.0, Service Communication Applications certification
Excellent Communication skills
Must process problem solving, planning, and analytical skills to drive continuous improvements
Flexibility in working hours and handling escalation and pressure situations
Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to coordinate cross functionally
