Maintenance of machines and equipments

Job Responsibility:
1. Maintenance of machines and equipment’s at state of art casting shop consisting of various machines like High Pressure Die Casting (Ube H & iV series), Low Pressure Die Casting (Isuzu), Core Shooter (Union Parts & Toyo Shell), Gas fired Melting Furnace (Striko), Holding Furnace (Tonetsu), Heat treatment Furnace (M/s Unitherm & M/s NKI), Cooling Tower, Decoding, Gate Cutting, FANUC Robots, Sand Conveyors, DEMAG EOT Cranes, Vacuum Pumps etc.

2. Flexible to work in any of three shifts as per dept. requirement.

3. Quick troubleshooting and rectification of faults.

4. Sunday/ Holiday & Shutdown work planning (spare & manpower).

5. Spare parts planning and selection of equivalent items.

6. Preventive maintenance planning & execution; Usage of Predictive maint tools.

7. Breakdown analysis (why-why) and countermeasures.

8. Basic Japanese shop floor principles.

Competencies/Skills

1. Thorough knowledge of mechanical assy drawings (read & draw) & hands-on experience of disassembly & assembly.

2. Accurate interpretation of Pneumatic and Hydraulic circuit diagrams. Hands-on experience of repairing the pneumatic & hydraulic elements.

3. Good knowledge of HPDC, LPDC & Core Shooter machines (auto cycle sequence, hydraulic & pneumatic circuit , mechanical assembly & their trouble shooting)

4. Good knowledge of centralized lubrication system working. Knowledge of different kinds of hydraulic & lube oils.

5. Good knowledge of different kind of Pumps (repair & service), Bearing units.

6. Good knowledge of FANUC robot maintenance (reducer & wrist replacement, mastering of robot and basic robot operation).

7. Shift handling & good inter-personal skills

8. Good computer operating skills (Excel, Power point, Outlook)

9. Well versed in completing all maintenance related documents.

10. Basic knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & TPM

11. Good communication skills (verbal & written)
