The position requires ensuring proper, timely updates of master data and strong focus on quality. Require the person who is highly result oriented and able to work under pressure, would be able to manage and act in complex situations. He/She should be proactive and perseverance to be able to finish the job within timelines. This position requires good communication skills, clear, direct and focused communication at multiple organization levels.
Title : Analyst/Senior Analyst, MDM
Roles & Responsibility:
1. Service Delivery :
Receiving requests for updating master data, validating the request, undertaking quality checks
Ensuring all proper backups are in place before updating master data
Ensure quality of master data by periodic checks
Undertake update of vendors / customer master data on a time to time basis
Undertake customer credit renewals / contracts/ prices on a time to time basis
Review duplicate records in master data, proactively takes steps to remove duplicate master data records
Ensure all controls are in place in accordance with the master data guidelines
Maintain Volume trackers and adhere sustain established control mechanisms.
Meet adhoc customer requirements exceptions and ensure that the requirements are fulfilled with a sense of urgency.
ü*Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and SLA’s are prepared and maintained for all processes handled in the GSC and necessary amendments are done.
Take ownership in building & maintaining Visual management Systems as per Process Excellence standards.
Take ownership, track and monitor and achieve KPI’s related to the process.
Implement Kaizens, Cost Saving Value Addition Projects identified.
2. Stakeholder communication:
Participate and take necessary call discussions with Business Partners along with supervisor.
Timely & professional interaction with Business Partners Stakeholders
Interact & Co-ordinate with other teams within GSC to achieve the business & organisational goals
Adherence to shift scheduling, leave planning, over time, back-up planning and comply with staff policies.
Ensure that all major risks are identified, documented and appropriately dealt with.
Actively participate in relevant business contingency testing. Support other GSC’s during contingency procedures.
Education : UG – B.B.A – Management, B.Com – Commerce
PG – M.Com – Commerce, MBA / PGDM – Any Specialization
Relevant Experience : 2 – 4 years of experience in Finance & Accounting.
