Full Job DescriptionRequirement(s): Technical Support Engineer
Experience Range: 0 to 2 Years
Skillset Required:
Very strong in written and oral communication.Should be able to comprehend user queries/issues.Experience in ticket management system.Should have experience installing software/ required files or patches to production sites.Should have experience in change management and release management.
Responsibilities / Job Functions:
Understand issues stated in email and work with L1 towards the closure of the ticket.Provide quick fixes to issues stated and keep the system up and running.Direct serious issues/bugs to relevant teamsCollaborate with required support teams where the issues is cross functional and take the issue towards resolution.Resolve any technical issue that may not require major code change.Responsible for testing and deploying patches in the production environment.Roll back code/patch should there be a need.Run reports on server activities and actions taken by support team.Run relevant reports from database on need basis or on demand.Send advance notification to stake holders on non-availability of services if there is any maintenance and downtime.Check the availability of services after deploying of patches or any updates and confirm the availability of all services. Mail notification should be sent after completing the patch process to the users of the client informing the availability of servicesEnsure period backup and maintenance activities are carried out.Train L1 team members on the product.

Experience working on following:
Windows Server 2012 or higherTicket management tools (Connectwise, RemedyForce)
Education
An Engineering Graduate.
