The successful candidate will be a senior infrastructure engineer who can contribute to the needs in system operations, security hardening, and engineering using cloud and on-prem technologies. Should have minimum of 5 years’ experience in consulting and/or a technical role in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Cloud Services, VMWare, Azure, DNS, Monitoring Tools, Linux
Responsibilities
Providing system administration services and support for on-prem, co-location, AWS, and Azure infrastructure.
Installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning of Linux-based operating system components and system software packages.
Remote monitoring and management of system alerts and notifications.
Expert for infrastructure and platform concerns including monitoring, logging, security, configuration management etc.
IaaS/server/virtualization management and administration.
Automating processes when possible; documenting them and keeping the documentation up to date
Automate infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible etc.
Contribute to DevOps and inter-departmental initiatives to maintain or improve system availability, security, and performance.
Building systems that are highly reliable, maintainable, and scalable.
Designing and orchestrating project deployments to cloud and dedicated server infrastructure, providing systems infrastructure expertise to project teams.
Participating in projects with cross-functional team members.
Requirements gathering, platform scaling, and deploying infrastructure.
Succeeding as a Senior Technology Analyst – DevOps , will require the following core qualifications and skills
Pragmatic problem solving and dealing with complex systems
Advanced experience on Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Cloud Services, VMWare, Azure, DNS, Monitoring Tools, Linux
Terraform Enterprise, DNS, DHCP, Certificate Services, SQL Clusters etc.
Preferred but not mandatory : Professional and/or Specialty level Azure or AWS certifications, Red Hat Enterprise Linux Certification
Experience in the building, maintaining, and deploying of docker containers
Experience working in Agile project delivery teams or experience in DevOps engineering
Experience in cloud deployment templating using offerings such as CloudFormation and/or Terraform, Understanding of microservices and application architecture
Must have hands-on professional experience as a senior Linux administrator (RHEL 6.x, 7.x preferred)
Professional experience with Windows Server Administration (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Certificate Services, SQL Clusters etc.)
Professional experience with VMware, Hands-on experience in Azure with knowledge and understanding of the primary Azure services.
A strong understanding of Cloud Native Architecture and cloud security principles.
Experience in AWS., experience designing, building, and operating mission critical, high-volume, high-availability infrastructure for software platforms
Have experience working with configuration management technologies such as Puppet, Chef, and/or Ansible.
Experience in scripting and automation using PowerShell/Bash/Python.
Working knowledge of Red Hat Network Satellite Server and IP networking, VPN’s, load balancing and firewall
Experience with monitoring (e.g. Splunk/ AppDynamics, SolarWinds, cloud native tools, etc.) and notification systems
Willing to work in 24*7 rotational shifts.
