IT Support – End user support and Asset management
As an IT support engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the IT asset Inventory and troubleshooting the user issues and provide effective assistance and maintain strong relationships.
Responsibilities
- Installing and configuring computer systems/ Laptops as per the baseline.
- Responding to users’ IT support requests.
- Diagnose software, networking, or hardware issues.
- Providing technical support via remote-access systems.
- Offering solutions that meet the needs of the users.
- Troubleshooting software issues, and networking problems.
- Tracking and managing work records.
- Managing Assets records on IT inventory tools
- Managing the hardware and software records in a proper manner.
- Maintaining OS like Windows, macOS and Linux (Install, repair, reset, erase)
- Onboarding users and system setup.
- Managing the MDM and fixing the issues highlighted by the Infosec team
- Maintaining the System compliance across the organization and reporting the non-compliance in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or relevant.
- 2+ years of IT Asset support and Asset Inventory for Hardware and Software.
- Proven work experience as a technical support engineer.
- Knowledge of computer hardware and networking systems.
- Good time management skills, good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.
- Ability to think critically.
- Basic understanding of MS Office packages like MS Excel and Word.
- Comfortable in travel for IT assets troubleshooting and repair
- Good to know about laptop troubleshooting and finding the route cause.
- Comfortable working closely with teams in an agile environment, with basic knowledge of capabilities in technical issues troubleshooting.
