Purpose
This position supports the objectives of the LANXESS Information Technology department to deliver high-quality and cost-effective Information Technology services to the business units and group functions of LANXESS.
Responsibilities of This position include project leadership/management, systems analysis and design, applications development, applications testing, Production implementation, end-user support, and problem management activities required to meet department project, support, and service management goals
In performing these activities, this position works with employees within other IT groups, business units, and group functions both regionally and globally within the LANXESS organization.
This position holds the primary responsibility for designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting LANXESS ERP and Non-ERP applications, processes, and facilities.
Mange the configuration and operability of LANXESS ERP/Non-ERP applications, improving the quality and effectiveness of LANXESS ERP/Non-ERP applications and Technology, and adhering to all IT department standards and guidelines.
Additional responsibilities include project management and leading department initiatives as required.
Independently organize tasks and manage time to complete multiple, diverse assignments within a scheduled time frame

Design, develop, and implement information technology solutions that add value, increase productivity, and/or improve the quality of LANXESS business processes
Configure SAP EH&S and develop RICEFWs EH&S specification database, EH&S IDoc message types (SUBMAS, PHRMAS, CHRMAS, CLMAS), Dangerous Goods (Filling, DG checks, DG print in SD / TM area)”
“Working knowledge of EHS Product Safety business processes. Responsible to solve issues raised by business in Product Safety and Dangerous Goods management, Substance Volume Tracking, WWI server issues during report generation
Provide guidance to the external support team in the areas of primary problem management and application support for ERP/Non-ERP processes, interfaces, and/or other facilities supported by the Applications and Processes teams.
Coordinate the implementation of large, mid, and small-scale projects.”
Plan utilization of capacity for service, scheduling of tasks and forecast capacity requirement
Set Targets for team and monitor performance
Mentor and Train other team members
Manage the assigned team, develop required skill levels, to achieve agreed service KPI’s
Identify, plan and ensure implementation of training needs within service stream
Ensure knowledge management by identifying ideas, techniques or tools.”
Provide consulting and subject matter expertise to IT and a business customer in the areas of ERP/non-ERP applications, processes, software, interfaces, and/or database management facilities (Oracle, SQL, or SQL Server).
Develops strong relationships with business units and functional areas that are supported by this role. Meet with these groups regularly, and align IT’s strategy with the business and functional goals and strategies. Strong stakeholder engagement and Demonstrated focus for customer satisfaction.
