Your Role and Responsibilities
As an O365 support specialist is responsible for installation, implementation and maintenance of O365 servers.
Responsibilities
Manage different exchange versions of Office365
Design and implement large scale Active Directory environments
Manage Office 365 services in hybrid infrastructure
Knowledge on On-Prem to cloud migration
Supporting Skype for Business & OneDrive issues
Provide day to day on-call administration support in a O365 environment along with supporting assigned systems and installing applications.
Recommend, schedule, and perform software and hardware upgrades, patches and reconfigurations.
Manage the development and implementation new services and testing of assigned servers
Resolve Workplace Collaboration Services Issues
Responsible to work on daily incidents, problems, and service request under the direction of an Infrastructure Specialist. This role has basic admin credentials to carry out moderately complex operations that have minimal business impact.
Apply Knowledge of Asset Management, Availability Management, Capacity Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, Incident Management
Apply Knowledge of Problem Management, Release Management, Security Management, Service Continuity, Service Level Management
Develop Operations Functions & Recovery Procedures
Lead Systems Management Function Improvement
Use Systems Management Method or Best Practices
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Office 365
Minimum 5 years of experience working in an Information Technology role.
Minimum 2 years of experience working with large, complex networks and systems.
Minimum 2 years of experience providing office 365 Support
Expert in Windows Active Directory, Office365, and PowerShell.
Knowledge on On-Prem to cloud migration
Minimum 4+ years of experience in Server operations and Lifecycle management.
Experience in Agile/waterfall/RAD methodology, process management, project management, time management, effective negotiation, communication and lead innovative/creative complex problem solving.
Proficient in MS Exchange Administration, O365 Administration, Migration from Exchange to O365, Skype, MS Teams Administration, cyber security strategy, Exchange database architecture, /operating systems, network architecture, storage architecture, Hybrid cloud architecture.
