Your Role and Responsibilities
This Project Management (PM) position will be responsible for driving cross-functional, matrix Offering Development and Lifecycle Management teams through the definition, business justification, development, launch, field enablement, and lifecycle enhancements for new consulting and project-based services offerings.
Responsibilities: –
The PM drives the cross-functional team and coordinates team activities at both the Global and Geography level, schedules and drives regular interlocks with both working groups and leadership stakeholders, and performs the activities and tasks required for the PM job role.
The PM works closely with the Offering Manager and functional representatives to manage risks and challenges to ensure that scope, schedule, and budget commitments are met.
The PM will also manage other projects and perform duties as assigned in support of Offerings outside the formal Offering development process as required.
The PM will collaborate with peers in other Offerings on joint or coordinated projects.
The PM will be the subject matter expert on the Offering team for the project management methods, processes and tools prescribed by the company.
The PM will support the Business Unit’s management system and executive reporting requirements.
The PM will need to have or build working knowledge of the hardware, software, ISV software, services, services competitors, market trends, etc. for the targeted customer environments to fully participate with and contribute to the Offering team over time.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum 12 years of IT Services industry experience in these areas
Services Cost Modeler, Cost Engineer, Delivery Project Manager/Executive, Technical Solution Manager/Architec
Large Account Finance Analyst or Delivery Finance Analyst in Services Provider compan
Excellent English language (verbal and written) and executive communication skill
Excellent skills in financial analysis and tools such as spreadsheets (e.g. Microsoft Excel
Strong leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, creativity and problem-solving skill
Strong experience in driving international teams in a matrixed services (preferably) or product offering development environmen
Strong experience working with field sales and solutioning teams
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Additional knowledge and experience in these areas
Consulting and project-based services offering management, development, sales, solutioning, deliver
IBM Z, IBM i, and related services, services providers, services sales/solutioning/deliver
Hyperscaler expertise including certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)
