Your Role and Responsibilities
The Brand Sales Partner Specialist (BSPS) specializing in the Cloud Platform portfolio focuses on a defined client or partner territory and drives brand sales through business partners. The BSPS delivers differentiated value through IBM’s technology portfolio to clients during the pre-sales and customer engagement phase of an opportunity. In order to identify opportunities and co-create and implement best matching client-centric solutions with the partners, the BSPS in this specialty applies broad expertise across the Cloud Platform portfolio in the offering areas of Application Modernization Offerings, Business Continuity & Data Resiliency Solutions, Cloud Migration Solutions, Cloud Native Offerings and Cloud Satellite.
Responsibilities
Responsible for driving brand sales in their client territory through partners; BSPS will identify opportunities to be progressed with partners, co-selling with those partners to increase productivity.
Responsible for driving brand revenue through ecosystem partners that sell into their S2 territory.
Responsible for identifying opportunities in territory that can be fulfilled through partners.
Supports solution co-creation with partners and provides use-case expertise for portfolio of brand offerings.
Works closely with TPA on named partners to influence partners tech agenda and inclusion of brand-specific technology in partner solution within assigned territory.
Advocates for partners with brand leadership and looks for new opportunities to scale with the ecosystem within their brand and client set.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Candidate will possess 12 -15 years of experience working with SI, VAR, ISVs in the software and technology industry
Proven Experience in Partner ecosystem & Business Development.
Good working knowledge of the cloud industry including IaaS & PaaS.
Ability to work independently towards stated goals with minimal supervision
Experience working and communication with multiple stakeholders and cross functional team including marketing, solution architect and program management.
Experience of sell/Co-sell in commercial and enterprise segment.
