Guesstimates Expert – Role Description
Your Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Helping our students succeed in Guesstimates by:
Holding small group discussions on how to approach guesstimates in a logical way with appropriate assumptions. We want these sessions to be discussion based where students share their approaches and you clear their misconceptions + show them quick and efficient ways to structure guesstimates
We currently estimate ~4-6 90-minute sessions every 7 weeks. These sessions would be held on Saturdays. The exact number of sessions may vary based on the batch needs and schedule
2. Help the Kraftshala team strengthen our Problem Solving training by:
Sharing on-ground insights on student engagement and challenges
Ensuring you are consistent with our training methods and philosophy
Sharing ideas (wherever possible) on how we can further hone our students’ problem-solving skills
You are a good fit if:
1. You have experience working in a consulting firm and have gone through the rigour of preparing for guesstimates and case studies
2. You have the critical thinking ability and knack to solve guesstimates effectively and efficiently. You should also be quick to observe misconceptions in student understanding, figure out reasons for the confusion and appropriately problem-solve to help students follow a structured/logical approach to the questions
