The Education and Skill Development practice of KPMG in India comprise a team of experience professional who deliver forward-looking advisory services across the spectrum such as K-12 education including early childhood care and education (ECCE), foundation literacy and numeracy skills, technical and vocational education, and training (TVET), higher education, education technology and supplementary education. The team has delivered multiple engagement in the past catering to a wide range of clients from the central and state governments, regulators, public and private educational institutions, corporates, not for profit organizations etc. The team has worked on the ground across Southeast Asia, Middle East and Africa – apart from India.
Job Summary:
The Project Management Analyst and Learning Design will provide support to the learning solutions team by assisting in the design of effective learning experiences, managing learning solutions projects, and conducting research on the latest trends in instructional design and learning strategy to incorporate into KPMG’s learning product development. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management, instructional design and staying informed about industry best practices. The analyst will collaborate with learning designers, strategy consulting and business development teams, subject matter experts and teaching faculty to ensure the successful execution of learning solution projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Coordination and Management:
• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of learning projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with project goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including instructional designers, subject matter experts, and technology specialists, to ensure timely project delivery.
• Support the evaluation of learning initiatives to measure their effectiveness and impact on learner performance.
• Assist in the collection and analysis of learner feedback and assessment results to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for content enhancements.
2. Collaborating with Stakeholders:
• Work closely with instructional designers and subject matter experts to gather project requirements and ensure that client expectations for learning solutions are understood and met.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback on learning materials and incorporate revisions or enhancements as needed.
• Maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns or questions
3. Learning Experience Design:
• Utilize instructional design methodologies to create engaging and effective learning materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, job aids, and multimedia content.
• Apply adult learning principles to design learner-centered content that promotes active participation, knowledge retention, and skill acquisition; incorporate various instructional strategies, such as scenario-based learning, gamification, and interactive elements, to enhance learner engagement and interactivity.
• Ensure seamless integration of learning content into appropriate platforms and systems, adhering to technical standards and compatibility requirements.
• Support the design and development of comprehensive learning frameworks that outline the structure and progression of learning programs; ensure that the learning frameworks align with the strategic learning objectives and support employability driven growth amongst learners.
• Collect and analyze feedback from learners, trainers, and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and make necessary refinements to the learning content and delivery methods.
• Stay up to date with advancements in learning technologies, instructional methodologies, and innovative learning approaches.
• Analyze research findings and provide insights and recommendations to the instructional design team to enhance learning solutions.
4. Research, Analysis and Program Improvement:
Qualifications and Skills:
Essential
• Graduate in any relevant field with a keen interest in human centered product design
• 6 months + of relevant, full time work experience
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization- both internal and external.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a strong willingness to take on new challenges.
• Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to gather and analyze information from various sources.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management tools
Desirable
• Deep understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and learning technologies
• Familiarity with industry-standard e-learning standards (e.g., SCORM, xAPI) and accessibility guidelines (e.g., WCAG) is desirable.
• Creativity and innovation in designing engaging and interactive learning experiences.
