Position Overview:
A Branch Manager, specialized in Gold Loans will be responsible for leading and managing the operations of a branch. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the branch, from customer service and operations to business development and team management. BM will play a crucial role in driving business growth while ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute strategies to achieve business growth targets, expand the customer base, and increase gold loan disbursements.
Collaborate with senior management to align branch goals with the organization’s overall objectives.
2. Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and motivate branch Employees.
Set performance goals, provide training, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
3. Customer Service Excellence:
Ensure a high standard of customer service by fostering a customer-centric environment within the branch.
Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain positive customer relationships.
4. Operations Oversight:
Manage the end-to-end gold loan process, including loan appraisal, documentation, disbursal, and repayment tracking.
Maintain efficient branch operations, adhering to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
5. Business Development:
Develop and implement strategies to attract new customers and enhance the branch’s market presence.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote gold loan services and achieve revenue targets.
6. Risk Management:
Identify potential operational and financial risks associated with gold loan operations and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
7. Performance Analysis and ing:
Analyse branch performance metrics, including loan disbursals, interest collections, and customer satisfaction.
Prepare and present s to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
Experience: 5-10 yrs of Significant experience in the financial industry, with a strong background in gold loans, lending, or branch management.
Knowledge:In-depth understanding of gold loan processes, Gold appraisal, banking operations, compliance standards, and risk management.
Leadership Skills:Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead, inspire, and manage a diverse team effectively.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with customers, team members, and stakeholders.
Strategic Thinking:Ability to develop and execute strategic plans, makes informed decisions, and adapt to changing market conditions.
