About the role
– Plant Supply Chain -Manager
Location- Bawal
Support change management initiatives for Inventory planning
Should undertake responsibility for end-to-end process ownership, governance and driving improvements of inventory target setting process for the Plant and region
Ensuring executing against Kerry global standards by leading the process adherence metrics
Key responsibilities
Material Inventory Management
Ensuring adequate stock levels of RM/PM, to meet the production demands and avoid shortages
Review Requisitions and issue PO’s according to lead time.Monitor vendor confirmations to validate delivery dates
Analysis on Inventory with a robust review system with recommendations and targets for IDOS, Safety Stock, SAR.Act on variances.Review overdue PO’s daily and follow up with suppliers with timely escalations.
Carry out actions as per Daily Task List, and update daily as actions completed.Provide clear, timely communication of Supply issues
Manage the F&R[ Forecasting & Replenishment] process to avoid service issues and/or stock write offs
Supplier Co-ordination-
Maintaining strong relationship with the vendors, adherence to contracts and ensuring timely delivery of goods meeting the Quality parameters
Managing fluidity in ordering the goods despite MOQ and contracts with timely receipt of inventory
Stake holder Co-ordination – Collaborate with internal stakeholders in the region across supply, demand, replenishment, and sourcing to incorporate strategies and drive inventory optimization.
Demand Planning & Production Support -Anticipating production requirements by working closely with Planning & Production Team and plan call offs accordingly to avoid production delays.
Supply Chain Hygiene -Check and maintain relevant Master Data including NPD [New Product Development] .Monitor shelf life regularly and work with the supplier, Quality and Warehouse to extend as required
Cost Control – Cost effective procurement strategies to optimize material expenses without compromising on quality
Qualifications and skills
Qualifications:
MBA Graduate from Supply Chain Discipline
Commercial know how is desirable.
Skill Sets
SAP Knowledge – MM Module, EPM, BI, Power BI
Advanced Excel
