Job Description:
Katomaran Technologies is looking for an Associate Support Engineer to join its Operations team. The person will be responsible for installing software, send weekly reports, raise defects and monitor the applications remotely. Maintain records of bugs and defect fixes.
Job Roles:
· To understand the scope of projects, troubleshoot system, diagnosing the software fault
· Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
· Support the roll-out of new applications, log bugs, update the new software changes and enhancement requests
· Monitoring the applications remotely and escalating it to the clients based on the level of incidence.
· Provide Remote Monitoring support for the deployed applications to clients (Voice, Email and Reports).
· Ensuring effective front end and back-end functionality of applications.
· Consulting with the software development team, internal users, and clients to improve application performance.
· Establishing the root causes of application errors, and escalating serious concerns to the Senior Engineer.
· Keeping a record of configuration changes and scheduling application updates.
· To generate reports for deployed applications and provide analytical data to clients.
Skills Required:
· Any of the Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or similar.
· Good communication skills to coordinate with the clients
· Ability to manage configuration changes, software updates maintenance, reports generation is a added advantage.
