JOB DESCRIPTION: DELIVERY ASSOCIATE AT KAPILVASTU FOODS VENTURE

Position: Delivery Associate

Location: Araria, Bihar

Job Summary:
The Delivery Associate is responsible for efficiently picking up a diverse range of goods and products from local shopkeepers and vendors and delivering them to the 56th Battalion SSB Araria within specified deadlines. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, organization, and excellent time management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Pick-up: Visit local shopkeepers and vendors to collect a wide variety of goods and products, which may include food items, supplies, equipment, and other items as per the Battalion’s needs.
• Verify Orders: Ensure the accuracy of orders and verify that the items picked match the Battalion’s requisitions to avoid discrepancies.
• Packaging: Properly package and secure items for transport to prevent damage during transit.
• Loading: Safely load the items into the delivery vehicle while ensuring that they are well- organized and positioned to prevent damage.
• Safe Driving: Operate the delivery vehicle in a safe and responsible manner, following all traffic rules and regulations.
• Navigation: Use GPS or other navigation tools to determine the most efficient and timely routes to the 56th Battalion SSB Araria.
• Timely Delivery: Ensure that all items are delivered to the specified destination within the established deadlines.
• Communication: Maintain effective communication with shopkeepers, vendors, and the Battalion to provide updates on delivery schedules and any delays.
• Inventory Management: Keep records of items delivered and received, and any discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by being courteous and professional when interacting with shopkeepers, vendors, and Battalion personnel.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of local traffic regulations and routes.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Physical fitness for lifting and moving packages.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in verifying orders.
