Full Job DescriptionAs a Business Analyst on the AM product team you will have accountability for the product – including the controls it upholds and risks it addresses – from supporting requirements gathering aligned to delivering the strategy, ensureing fatures are delivered, and supporting customer inqueries. You are expected to have subject matter expertise in all areas of business analysis, process definition, risk/controls analysis, backlog grooming/refinement, requirement gathering/definition, stakeholder management, communications, and user experience. It will be beneficial to have technical experience.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Facilitate communication between all stakeholders to ensure that work is prioritized appropriately to meet business objectives, and managing competing priorities
Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders and the team to specify epics and stories with sufficient discussion and acceptance criteria to ensure successful delivery
Prioritize issues and business as usual work alongside project deliverables
Update stakeholders with timely progress reports, highlighting successes and delivery risks (and mitigation strategies identified)
Manage all team requirements, escalating where there are gaps and delivering tactical and strategic remediation plans
Deliver process improvement through constant review both internally and with partner departments
The ideal candidate is a results-oriented hands-on leader who can handle many different roles such as:
Defining user stories and acceptance criteria
Maintaining product backlog
Collaborate cross functionality with support and other software engineering teams
Creating help guides for end users and internal support teams
Performing card (user story) sign-off
Providing direction for testing of new functionality
Facilitating implementation of new functionality through training and demonstrations
Collaborating with business users and technology partners at all levels
Qualifications:
5+ years of overall experience and 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Systems Analyst, System Analyst, or Experience in Identity & Access Management and/or Technology Risk Management
Results oriented; ready to challenge the status quo for continuous improvement
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
High level of energy and can work under pressure
Strategic thinker; makes appropriate business decisions and gains cooperation of others
Experience producing product artifacts, including product requirements, user journeys, high-level wire frames, etc.
Excellent verbal and written skills are critical since this job primarily entails communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with a variety of partners and stakeholders
