JOB TITLE
Solution Manager – TrueVUE Software
OVERALL JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for managing product direction, features, integration and customization support for TrueVUE software products. Pronounced focus will be placed on comprehensive cloud-based solution offerings involving software, device hardware and firmware components. The role will require occasional travel to customer and other Sensormatic facilities around the world.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Work primarily with JCI’s retail customers, customer project teams and custom solution development teams around the world, perform the following job responsibilities:
Gather, document and prioritize user requirements across the entire range of device hardware, software and firmware components for Sensormatic’s TrueVUE product suite.
Work with other TrueVUE Product Owner’s and cross-functional teams to produce and maintain long-term solution roadmaps consistent with Sensormatic’s business and solution portfolio strategy.
Interact with customer project teams and directly with customers to drive and ultimately deliver high-value user experiences for targeted users.
Work with the software development teams to ensure product delivery and quality goals are achieved.
Support full lifecycle software product management. This includes conceptualization, definition, business case analysis, design, planning, tracking and release management activities.
Attend daily stand-up meetings as an Agile product owner for select, on-going development and QA activities.
Create solution prototypes and conduct demos.
Participate in demonstrations, tradeshows and industry conferences.
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS
Must have extensive experience with retail inventory business processes, such as – but not limited to, inventory cycle counting, sales floor planogram and replenishment, omnichannel order and fulfillment, POS management, loss prevention and shrink management, vertical and open source supply chain logistics.
Familiarity with TrueVUE legacy software a plus.
Must have extensive mobile and/or web-based client application design, implementation and/or development experience.
Must be experienced with both licensed software applications as well as hosted/managed software applications (including Software as a Service).
Must be familiar with key SaaS-based subscription pricing, billing and account management functionality.
Must be energetic, inspiring, self-driven, hard-working, results-oriented and solution-minded!!
Must enjoy working with customers and being driven by customer expectations.
Must possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
English required, multi-language a plus.
Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Must be familiar with technologies such as XML, Web Services, relational databases, application servers, mobile/desktop client technologies, reporting and analytic systems.
Must be experienced with technologies such as wireless/wired networking technologies, multiprotocol sensor devices and RFID technologies for retail applications.
Must be willing to travel approximately 25% of the time on average, including occasional travel abroad (some periods of travel may fall above and below the expected average, and average travel estimate cannot be a condition of hire.)
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 years’ experience in software design, development, product management and/or related software/ hardware solution implementation experience. Minimum 1 year experience with or involvement with Agile software development processes.
Qualifications
Bachelors in engineering and or related.
