What this job involves:
Churning out successful events
Are you an ace in organizing events? In this role, you’ll be the point person who will lead the day-to-day activities in our client’s offices. To do this, you should be familiar with everything set out in the scope of work. You’ll also ensure that all aspects of the site meet OH&S standards, keep administrative activities under control, and resolving event-related issues, including cleaning, parking, conference/meeting rooms, interior furnishings, fixtures, etc.
Teaming up with tons of people
This fast-paced, client-facing role requires you to work with many people to make sure events are flawless.
You’ll coordinate with catering vendors, event hosts, production crews, AV and site teams. You’ll also spend time reviewing their work and making sure that they are always on the same page with the game plan.
Being our event superhero
You will lend your expertise on events, especially in creating and updating the facilities event playbook and event training materials. You will provide event trainings to the teams, users and vendors, and work with site leads in rolling out event-related standards and initiatives.
Likewise, you will support projects and provide feedback for event spaces and new builds. You will also author and manage the content and design for the Facilities internal page in country. Part of your job is to keep in touch with key stakeholders and users, and maintain quality in all sites. An events tracker, which you have to maintain, will come in handy when you need to report at the end of a month.

Multiskilled
Putting a successful event together takes expert-level skills. But first of all, you should hold a degree or diploma in Business Administration, Hospitality, Facilities or similar discipline. It would also be great for you if you have at least five years of experience in these fields. And it’s a big plus if you have had the chance to work in logistics management before—here, abroad or anywhere else.
Poised under pressure
In nerve-wracking situations where stakes are high, you should know how to keep your cool. Your priority should be to find a solution while staying level-headed. People will often come to you for answers, so you must be quick on your feet. You should also have the stamina for working long hours and hectic schedules.
A people magnet
