Job Description
Job Summary:
The IT Service Management Developer is responsible for supporting and improving Intelerad’s client facing IT Service Management Platform, ServiceNow. As a key member of the agile development team responsible for the design, testing and maintenance of our ServiceNow platform, the IT Service Management Developer will analyze business requirements, design, implement and test solutions in ServiceNow infrastructure. This role also includes integration work with other Intelerad platforms like Atlassian’s JIRA and developing standalone ServiceNow applications in support of IT Service Management and Project Management Workflows.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop and implement solutions for ServiceNow
Use Jira to support and document the change management process from Dev to Test to Prod
Move configuration and development changes from Dev to Test to Prod using SN update sets
Develop small standalone SN tools and dashboards to support ITSM and Project Management workflows
Create and configure workflows based on the business requirements and best practices
Perform integration between ServiceNow and other Intelerad business systems
Manage all SN objects like Tables, Business rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, Script Includes, UI pages, UI macros,etc.
Manage the different web portals used by internal and external clients, using JavaScript, BootStrap and Angular
Participate in problem-solving during ServiceNow development, testing and production
Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications
Load, manipulate and maintain data between ServiceNow and other systems
Participate in the development and delivery of training for end-users
Work directly with end users to resolve issues in ServiceNow
Participate in deploying and validating ServiceNow patches/updates and new versions of the platform
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
2+ years of experience in software development
2+ years of experience with ServiceNow
Experience with Service management processes and ITIL
Advanced Knowledge of:
JavaScript (JS)
SN JS APIs
JSON & XML
HTML & CSS
Web UI Model–view–controller model
AngularJS / BootStrap
Working Knowledge of:
Jelly
Atlassian JIRA
SalesForce
NetSuite OpenAir
ERP/CRM/HRM
GSuite/Slack
Attention to details and strong problem solving abilities
Strong technical aptitude and approaches challenges as opportunities and sees every day as a chance to become better
Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships
Desired Experience/Skills:
Good English written and oral communication skills
Good knowledge of French is a strong plus
Proven ability to be structured, organized and detail oriented
Familiarity with Health care and medical imaging
