Full Job Description
The candidate will work as a member of a verification team, playing a key/leading role in developing Ethernet Network Interface Controller products. The responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Create/contribute to verification test plansUnderstand the architecture and design of the verification environment in OVM/UVM and create components used by test environmentDevelop/run/debug tests and functional coverage in SystemVerilogOwnership of verification of block/cluster level testing or a significant feature set in a chip/subsystem level testingParticipate in code review process and provide/implement feedbackParticipate in func coverage, code coverage reviews and provide/implement feedbackAble to use automation and productivity tools to maximize impact on overall scheduleTrack progress to achieve goals timelyContribute to the development and maintenance of long term design verification strategyBe able to work with teams across geos
Qualifications
B.Tech + 3-6 yrs or M.Tech + 2-5 yrs domain experience out of which 2+ years of hands-on verification experience using SystemVerilog and OVM/UVM
Strong understanding of engineering design principles
Proficiency in SV, OVM, UVM and object oriented programming
Good track record of execution in Pre-Si Val environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with creation of plans and test environment for RTL design verification
Experience in development and deployment of verification strategies and methodologies across teams and organizations
Experience with implementation of modern verification environments that include use of constrained-random stimulus and use of functional coverage
Proficiency in scripting languages and utilities including Make, Perl, Python, etc.
Expert level knowledge of simulation tools such as VCS from Synopsys
Very good knowledge of automation concepts and significant experience working with SCM/CI tools and infrastructure
Experience in network ASIC design verification is a plus with protocols such as Ethernet, Memory buses, PCI-Express, etc
Hands on Experience in C/C++ is highly desirable
