Full Job Description
We are looking for highly motivated Pre-Silicon Emulation Leads who are responsible to ensure First time right success of our SOC products.
As Emulation lead you will drive emulation activities for our SOC products and define overall Emulation plan and lead execution on model and test content along with a team of talented emulation engineers. You work directly with hardware architects, RTL designers, IP providers, EDA tool partners and Pre-Si/Post-Si/SW Software teams to deliver best in class emulation solution.
SOC Emulation experience required in Multi-Die emulation for disaggregated SOC dies. Expert should bring strong capability in FW reset bring-up, Ethernet/Storage interfaces and hybrid emulation for FW-HW, Performance Validation on Networking/Edge SOC Emulation.
Qualifications
Key qualifications:
� Should have strong experience in Emulation model development on Zebu or Veloce Emulation Platforms and expertise in bringing up model out of reset.
� Experience in Multi-Die emulation for disaggregated SOC dies.
� Should bring strong capability in FW reset bring-up, Ethernet/Storage interfaces and hybrid emulation for FW-HW, Performance Validation on Networking/Edge SOC Emulation.
� Strong experience in BIOS/FW bring-up on full SOC and multi-die emulation model.
� Strong experience of developing and executing test content such as Maestro, Metro, PythonSV, with focus on concurrency on IA SOCs or equivalent in ARM SOCs.
� Should have experience in integration and bring up of transactors for high speed serial interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, SATA) and memory interfaces (DDR4/DDR5) on emulation and be proficient in PHY based model bring ups on emulation.
� Should have good understanding of SOC level RTL design, IA and ARM based SOC architecture, verification flows and C based directed test environment.
� Strong knowledge and skills of Intel IA (IA32 architecture with debug knowledge of Intel’s Core and Uncore or equivalent in ARM architecture)
� Good knowledge of system level flows for Boot, Power Management, media/camera/GT and security.
� Should possess strong debugging skills and problem solving mindset in root-causing emulation and system issues.
� Defines and develops new methodologies that enables improvement of emulation model usability for pre-Si and post-Si functional validation as well as for SW development and validation.
� Good Experience with scripting, automation to enable effective utilization of emulation resources is highly desirable
