Pega Automation Application Developer Job Description: Are you an experienced Pega developer looking to work in exciting and challenging projects? Qualifications
The Role: As a Pega Automation Application developer, you will be responsible for developing business process management applications using Pega. The candidate will be part of a larger development team working on building enterprise level applications in Pega. Will be responsible for designing, building and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. The candidate should have sound knowledge of software development methodologies and its application Responsibilities: � Should be a strong Pega BPMS developer with excellent problem solving skills � Should have worked in a core Pega development team on multiple Pega development projects � Should have had working knowledge on at least some of file/email listeners, agents, UI, workflows, configurations, OOTB integration, reports, guardrails, access controls and others. � Good hands on experience in integration services like web services, JMS � Experience working in an agile environment and having agile knowledge is a must � Ensure high quality and development standards. � Should have experience working with stakeholders and translating varied requirements into a cohesive technical design Qualifications � Minimum of 3-5 years of development experience in Pega � Candidate must have a strong understanding of Business Process Methodologies � Good knowledge of Java, Javascript, CSS, OOPS and UI is desirable � Excellent communication skills are a must, as this position requires constant communication with global team members, peers and stakeholders. � Ability to multi task and prioritization � Good analytical and troubleshooting skills � Pega certification is nice to have � Graduate degree in computer science or engineering � Willingness to learn new technologies � Good interpersonal and/or teamwork skills � Good technical skills and educational background Desired qualifications… bonus points if you have any of these: – Knowledge about integrations/Apigee – Experience with DevOps, SAFe, Agile, Scrum-of-Scrum, Scrum-At-Scale – Experience delivering complex projects in a 24×7 multi-site environment Minimum qualifications to be considered for this position: – Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field; and/or equivalent of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
