Oversees definition, design, verification, and documentation for SoC (System on a Chip) development. Determines architecture design, logic design, and system simulation. Defines module interfaces/formats for simulation. Performs Logic design for integration of cell libraries, functional units and subsystems into SoC full chip designs, Register Transfer Level coding, and simulation for SoCs. Contributes to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits. Performs all aspects of the SoC design flow from highlevel design to synthesis, place and route, timing and power to create a design database that is ready for manufacturing. Analyzes equipment to establish operation infrastructure, conducts experimental tests, and evaluates results. May also review vendor capability to support development.
Qualifications
You must possess one or more of the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering., or related field plus 6 years of industry work experience, or Master’s degree in Electrical or degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related field plus 4 years of industry work experience, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related field plus 2 years of related work experience. Minimum Required Qualifications: 2 plus years of experience with Linux and RTL design process, UPF, and power. 2 plus years of experience with automation of methodologies/solutions using TCL, Python, PERL. 2 plus years of experience with RTL Front End domains Simulation. 2 plus years of experience working on complex ASIC projects. Additional Preferred Qualifications: EDA Tool Knowledge (desirable): Spyglass, VCS-MX, VC-LP, Questa, NCSIM, Verdi, Zebu, Veloce, Palladium Design Language (one or more): System Verilog, UVM/OVM, VHDL, UPF, IP-XAC
