Full Job Description
We are looking for a Manager, Accounting to join our Finance team in Bangalore, reporting to the Director of Global Accounting. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced environment, help the company account for transactions, and ensure compliance for a group of Infoblox entities while working closely with Payroll, Treasury, Accounts Payable, Tax, outside consultants, and HR teams. You will also supervise accounting, compliance, and local reporting.

What you’ll do:
Lead a group of about 12 entities, including primary responsibility for international entities’ close process
Prepare and present balance sheet flux analysis to the leadership team every month
Take a primary role in process improvement projects like close optimization, automation, and system enhancements
Take a key role in International Entity Statutory Audits, which includes reviewing and coordinating with all stakeholders on PBC items
Oversee close activities prepaid entries identification and amortization, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, transfer of pricing entries, roll-forward statements for certain accounts, accruals from different stakeholders, etc.
Ensure all IA/SOX controls are in place and the testing process is managed periodically and assist in process walk-throughs when required
Review and present all schedules associated with statutory or tax audits
Lead the compliance matters direct and indirect tax returns, tax audits, statutory statistical requests, secretarial matters, and other compliance items for your group of entities
Ensure proper and legal settlement if inter-company accounting and reconciliations periodically
Assist with tax provision, withholding taxes, and advance tax calculations
What you’ll bring:
8+ years of finance/accounting reporting experience, including 3+ years of supervisory experience
Experience handling global accounting operations from SSC/COE
Results-orientation with an ability to collaborate with individuals across the organization, as well as a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude to accomplish tasks
Ability to complete projects and achieve objectives both independently and as part of the team
High level of independence, accountability, teamwork, judgment, and attention to detail in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting, or finance; Master’s degree preferred
CPA/CA is a strongly preferred
What success looks like:
After six months, you will…
Be fully conversant with the regulatory environment for a group of entities in South Asia and/or EMEA regions
Be adept at using Oracle Fusion, both for operational activities like parking journal entries and running reports
Handle all external and internal queries independently
Understand the downstream and upstream impact of accounting estimates and positions
After about a year, you will…
Independently handle statutory and other ad-hoc audits for a group of entities
Identify and implement process improvements across regional compliance and accounting activities
Be a focal point of contact for IT to fix and implement Fusion-related bugs or enhancements
Drive entity-specific projects from a secretarial and tax perspective
Identify, address, and fix the root cause of errors in account balances
Be encouraged to pursue training and certifications to help you stay current with local accounting rules/pronouncements and be well versed with local tax compliances
